2nd Match Report (Amigos)

Before I comment on the match, here's something trivia... On Sunday, the first prize for 4D was 1451. This game, we lost at 65-51 with a point difference of 14. Hmmm....

Anyway, we have lost our second match to the Amigos. But compared to our previous match against Team J, the team felt more relaxed and focused, and I believe that we will continue to improve throughout the season.

During our first half, it was a tough fight especially against their experienced two forwards (#1/#69) and center. However, we improved on our defensive tactics, and had been holding the first half to 6 points difference.

During the 2nd half, Amigos net 18 points during 3rd quarter and 13 points for the 4th quarter, while Knights net 10 points and 13 points respectively.

Our team begin to shine in the 4th quarter, as we held a half-court press and limit our opponents, while our MVP Derrick Teo helped to score 9 points (include 1 point in first half) and ended with 1 steal, 2 offensive rebounds and 1 block. And also, our key players such as Dan, Jason, Teck Meng, Marvin shoot with better consistency and had about 50% scoring rate. One of our youth players, Jia Wei has pot 3 out of 3 shots.

Luckily during the match, our Coach Guo Hui came and help to organize the team, constantly switching the team for better communication & feedback. Guo Hui stated that our team actually improved and has capabilities to win matches.
