MVP Calculation

MVP (Most Valuable Player) is a player that not only can score points effectively but also contribute in assists, with offensive & defensive plays such as rebound, steal, block, etc.

In the future for Yew Tee Knights, we will set a fundamental calculation for our MVP based on points system. At every match, one of our reserved players will help to mark down all the scores, plays, assists, etc.

- For Every Points Scored = Add 1 Points
- For Every Chance Scored = Add 5 Points
- For Every Assist = Add 3 Points
- For Every Chance Missed = Minus 5 Points
- For Every Block/Steal/Rebound = Add 3 Points
- For Every Foul = Minus 5 Points
- For Foul-Out = Minus 10 Points

For Example (Top 3 Scorers, Based On 29th Sep 07 Match Against Amigos)

Derrick Teo

6 Chances Scored (30)
4 Chances Missed (-20)
1 Steal (3)
2 Rebound (6)
1 Blocks (3)
2 Fouls (-10)
TOTAL : 21 Pts

5 Chances Scored (25)
2 Chances Missed (-10)
0 Steal (0)
0 Rebound (0)
